Personal

I recently married the love of my life August 22, 1998.  My wife's name is LaDesia. This is my best friend, my potna, and my homie.
Here are a few pictures of her.   We live in Metro Atlanta, GA (Austell).  I have one older brother, William aka Capone,  who also lives in Atlanta.  I have a sister that lives in Long Beach, CA and her name is Kiska.  My mother, Veronice Scott, lives in Statesboro, GA.  This is where I was born and grew up.  I guess that makes me a country boy.  some of you may recognize Statesboro by the school there, Georgia Southern University.

As if God couldn't treat us any better, my wife and I have been recently blessed with the expectancy of our first child.  Our baby girl is due May 21st.  I'm real geeked up about this.  This fatherhood thing is real exciting.  I'm taking a lot of time to prepare myself.  It's kind of funny, I've even increased my workout to prepare for the long nights and short naps.  Plus, I don't want daddy's little girl thinking she has a slob of a father.  Besides, I gotta look fine at the PTA meetings in a few years.  If anyone has any advice for a brotha, hit me with an email.  The address is at the bottom of this page.

Daria LaNée
Well, here she is!!!  In all of her splendor.  Little Miss Daria was born May 19, 1999
at 5:58PM.  She weighed 7 lbs 15.3 oz and was 20.5" long.

I can't begin to explain how this little girl has changed my our lives forever.  I can't put into words the love I have for my family.  I feel as though I am on top of the world.  Nothing can come close to the birth of a child.  It is the most phenomenal event I've ever witnessed and I will let nothing stand in the way of the well being of my wife and daughter.  My life is dedicated to making sure my family is taken care of.  I never thought that I would not be afraid of pain and death, but if that is what it takes to ensure that LaDesia and Daria survive in this mean ol' world then so be it.  Not that I can compare myself to Jesus Christ by any means, but if he can sacrifice himself to save the world, I have no problem sacrificing myself for my family.  I am afraid no more.

Thank you to all of our friends and family members who have supported us in the last year.  We have done a lot in these past months.  It's kind of amazing looking back at it all.  Again, thank you!  we appreciate all of the gifts, advice, and companionship you guys have extended to us.  We can't thank you enough.  I hope you all enjoy these photos of Daria.  I put this together in sort of a rush.  You know my time has been limited.  I will try to update this section as often as possible.

Memorial

This is a link to a memorial of William Scott, Sr. and Lonzie Walker, Sr.  They are our fathers (LaDesia and I).   My father, William Scott, passed January of 1991, my freshmen year of college.  LaDesia's father passed March 1998.  The memorial comes from the text included in our wedding program.
