William Scott, Sr.
Lonzie L. Walker, Sr.
This is a very special and divine day for us. As we exchange vows and commit to one another, we are pleased to know that our fathers are smiling upon our union. Life ends quickly for some and one must take advantage of Life. Both lived and loved life; however, no one can resist the calling of the Lord. Maybe we don’t understand because of the pain it causes, but we must continue to love and live our Lives also. It does sadden us, though, never to see our fathers shake hands. But wait…look at those candles! William Scott, Sr., standing there so calm and collected, debonair even. Oh, and Lonzie Walker, Sr., you’re standing there looking all shy, yet with a chagrin of pure confidence. As these two candles “shake hands” in fire, they create a bond; a bond that hovers over the union between the two of us; a bond that secures this relationship to endure all that life has to offer; a bond that the Lord has created and has no intentions of separating.
Daddy, we miss you and we’ll always Love you.
